Who We Are

We are an Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Colorado. We belong to the Episcopal Church of the United States and the worldwide Anglican Communion. We have a rich history in this beautiful valley. As a growing Congregation, we are committed to Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, Fellowship with one another, and Service to those who live in our Community, our Diocese, and the World.

…a congregation that worships.

Our worship follows a traditional format found in the Book of Common Prayer. Our music comes from a traditional Hymnal and the a spiral-bound book with more contemporary songs. The Holy Bible is also located in the pew rack for your reading and reference to the Word of God in the Old and New Testaments.

We stand at the Processional and Recessional; to Sing; to say the Nicene or Apostle’s Creed that affirm our beliefs; to pass the Peace; and to present our Offerings. We sit to hear the Scripture Readings, the Sermon, and the Announcements. We kneel or stand to pray; to say the General Confession for those things we have done and left undone; and to receive Absolution for our offenses. Individuals may also bow their heads to the Cross or at the name of Jesus, make the sign of the Cross, share the Peace with those close by or those around the Church.

Please worship in whatever way is comfortable and meaningful for you!

During the Eucharist, we participate in the Last Supper which Jesus celebrated with his Disciples on the night before He was crucified. This is central to our Worship in the Episcopal Church. As we receive the Bread and Wine (the Body and Blood of Christ), we are strengthened spiritually to live out our Faith.

Everyone is invited to come to the Altar Rail at Communion to receive the Sacrament or a Blessing.

Service is core to the Episcopalian foundational vow to “seek and serve Christ in all persons.” We seek to love and serve God by loving and serving those around us. Our members are passionately involved in tangible expressions of service to our Parish, our Community, our Diocese, and the World.

We hope that you will find warmth, welcome, and worship here with us. We invite you to come to coffee hour after the service so that we can greet you, introduce ourselves, and share information about our church community! This is held in the Parish Hall, right behind the Church. Join us!
